MOTOROLA MW800/MW810 CPU TRUNK MOUNT
1995-2009 FORD CROWN VICTORIA
DRIVER SIDE TRUNK CPU BRACKET:
• Remove driver side taillight.
• Position CPU Mount bracket so holes in bracket line up w/ taillight
mounting holes.
• Reattach taillight through holes in bracket, then loosely attach nuts.
• Drill ¼” holes through vehicle trunk frame wall on opposite side of
bracket. Use front side of bracket as a drill guide.
• Attach ¼-20 x ¾” Hex head bolts and ¼” Serrated nuts.
• Tighten all hardware.
• Mount CPU to Housing bracket using (4) 5mm-.8 x 10mm Hex
head machine screws and washers. Be sure ON/OFF switch on
CPU is turned ON at this time.
• This housing will be mounted to CPU Bracket after CPU cables
are attached and wiring is complete.
ATTACH CABLES TO CPU:
• Data cable from monitor to Display 1.
• Speaker cable box to port labeled AUX and Audio Out
• Ignition sense cable attaches to Speaker cable box.
• Route antenna cable to CPU
• Attach antenna connector to antenna cable
• Leave a service loop and wire tie antenna cable to CPU cover.
• Now that all cable is attached and wiring is complete attach CPU
Housing to CPU bracket using pem-studs and ¼” serrated nuts
designated for the specific components.
• CPU cables will face Rear Passenger Side taillight when mounted
then loop down and around computer, up the inner wheel well, to
the back seat wall.
• CPU must be level, both vertically and horizontally, to meet
Motorola standards.
• Place CPU cover (CM93625) on mount using 10-32 x ½” Machine
screw.
